Artist Profile: David Tillinghast

David Tillinghast has had a highly successful freelance career for over 22 years in both illustration and design. His client list is significant and varied. David grew up in the Pacific Northwest. He spent some time as a young boy in New Zealand. He graduated from Art Center College of Design (Pasadena, California) in 1985 with Distinction, and has made his home in Los Angeles ever since. David has been a full-time faculty member for the Illustration Department at Art Center College of Design. He has also taught at California State University at Northridge as well at Mount Saint Mary’s College. David has been fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to design all of his own classes at these schools, which later became integrated into the regular curriculum.
